Waiting For Something To Happen and Other Dreary Tales

This is another one of those no news is no news types of things. I'm getting really high up in level in a PC video game called Fate. I'm about halfway through Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 4... again. We have a temporary client, of sorts, who we've provided some living space for in our camp for a few weeks, but I haven't actually met any of them or done any work in that area. Not my department. I think I walk less than 1000 paces a day, because I appear to be getting greasy and fat for no particular reason. My old boss was in the papers again the other day because they unsealed his plea bargain... he had pled guilty to all of the charges against him in February, and will have to pay close to $8 Million in fines and restitution and faces up to 40 years in prison... to be decided at a future sentencing court date. Crime don't pay, kiddos.
We had a dust storm in Baghdad today, which is weird because it's really not the season for them. Here's a picture of our Head Chef, Robert, sitting outside our Dining Facility in the dusty weather.

Postcard From The Zone(d Out!!!)

Well, Baghdad didn't change much while I was gone. Of course, seeing as I don't really have a job and I almost never leave my caravan, I don't suppose I'd be the one to notice any differences. Yeah... that whole Marketing thing never really came up while I was at the office in Romania... I think that the only reason they're keeping anybody around is in case they need us handy for information and/or court appearances relating to our dispute with our former client. Hey, I got a DVD player, internet AND a retro Atari 2600 console, fridge and a microwave in my room... things is pretty sweet. Not exciting, but comfy. The trick now is to see how long I can get away with it!
I read once about a guy they stuck in a locked room without a watch or a window just to see how long it would take him to wig out... apparently after the experiment he walked around with an eye twitch and 2 watches on each wrist.
I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.
