I saw this movie years ago, and just re-visited it. It's still awesome. It made me happy, and I'm afraid I won't make my post quota for November, so here's some YouTube clips from it.

I'd like to watch that, if I watched movies.

YEAH you would. Sometimes movies are worth it, you know. Do you watch TV? Movies are way better than TV.

What is your post quota?
Posted by: Miss Luongo | Monday, November 26, 2007 at 20:39
Whatever I say it is!
Sometimes I just feel like I don't post enough.
Posted by: messiestobjects | Monday, November 26, 2007 at 21:42
Yeah you definitely don't post enough. But it's not easy. I posted something about this english woman teacher that's in trouble in the Sudan because she let her class of 6 and 7 year olds name a teddy bear Muhammad - and now she's facing 6 months in prison and/or public flogging because the 'men with big beards' (actual quote) want to kill her. But it came off as intolerant, so I deleted it. So anyway, yeah one post a week minimum ok? Get on it.

Just hang out with me and you'll feel like a superior postmaster!
Different from a dynamic mail carrier.

Gary, I am so intolerant of your tolerance of Muslims. Re-post it! Find your inner Condell.
In the meantime, I'll see what I can do about posting more.
So Sissy, you're saying that if I hang out with you I won't feel like Cliff Claven? Damn. I miss that guy.

I'm just saying that when you feel like a post loser, find someone lower on the posting pole than you.

I don't go in for that sort of blogging Darwinism.

My bad. I totally flaked on the fact that I was talking to Mr. McSnootypants. lol. It's hard to be at the top. Expectations. Goals. Accomplishments. Blog quotas. It's work, man. Work.

Now don't forget it next time.
I like to read post-heavy blogs by people who are smarter and more prolific than me when I'm in a blog rut... At best it gives me inspiration, at worst I can steal their subject material and put my own lame twist on it.
No I take that back. At WORST I just troll YouTube for a video that relates to something that I don't really want to post about, anyway.

I read Newsweek. Get inspired. Or fired up over an issue. Then become too lazy to write about it.

I can't believe no one commented on that Devo video I posted. That's like the best video ever made. It's still so relevant today god damn it!

Isn't Mark Mothersbaugh busy making the next Wes Anderson movie score?
Posted by: messiestobjects | Saturday, December 01, 2007 at 23:50
yeah probably, in between doing songs for commercials and touring with Devo
What are you trying to say Michael? Would you prefer it if he overdosed or something? :P
Posted by: Gary | Sunday, December 02, 2007 at 09:41
Not at all... I liked Devo. I'm just suspicious of his cutesy later-day stuff and his association with Disney, is all.
